INSTRUCTIONS FOR PHYSICAL EFFICIENCY TEST (PET) OF GROUP-D & RPF

1. Candidate will not be allowed for PET without producing this call letter in original.

 2. Indulging in any impersonation I malpractice unfair means in the PET will disqualify the candidate and he will be debarred from all future RRC examinations and appointment in Railways. Such candidates are also liable for prosecution under law. 


3. If any candidate receives more than one call letter, he/she should appear only once and submit remaining call letter(s) to PET Official.

 4. Candidate should report for PET well in time.) Change of date, time and venue of the PET will not be permitted under any circumstances and decision of RRC in all matters will be final and binding. No further round of PET can be held for candidates who fail to turn up on scheduled dates. I 

5. SC/ ST candidates are entitled to fi'ee rail travel on production of their call letter. However, railway passes will not be issued on duplicate! corrected call letters issued at RRC office. 

6. Candidate must sign on the call letter at the appropriate space at the PET centre in presence of the PET Official only. His/her signature should be exactly same as in the application form. He/ she has to affix his/her left thumb impression carefully on the attendance sheet. 

7. If a candidate loses original call letter, or in case of any discrepancy in the call letter regarding name, photogaph or community, the candidate should come to the‘ office of the RRC on 17.03.08 and 18.03.08 between 10.00 hrs to 15.00 hrs for issue of duplicate/corrected call letter without fail. 

Note:
PET Quali in standards as  for male and female are as follows:

Male Should be able to:

 (I) Run for a distance of 1500 meters in 7 minutes in one chance

(II) lift and Carry 35 kilogram of weight  for a distance of 100 meters in 2 minutes in one chance,  putting the Weightdown 

WomenShould be able to: 

(I) run for a distance of 400 meters in 4 minutes in one chance

(II) lift and Carry 20 kilogram of weight for a distance of 100 meters in 2 minutes in one chance, without putting the Weightdown 

Though steps will be taken to provide immediate first-aid and basic medical assistance at the PET venue, RRC/ECoR and Railway  administration will not be liable I responsible for any loss injury damage, whether direct or consequential, suffered incurred by any  candidate while participating in the PET.
