As per Railway Board letter No. E (NG)-II/2012/RR-1/14 dated 12/11/2012, the norms for Physical Efficiency Test (PET) which were mentioned in para 5.4 of the above mentioned notification have been revised as under:
Male Candidates - Should be able to run for a distance of 1000 meters in 4 minutes and 15 Seconds in one chance.
Female Candidates - Should be able to run for a distance of 400 meters in 3 minutes and 10 Seconds in one chance.
