Indian Army conducts Indian Army Soldiers Technical Examination
2011 for the recruitment of soldier for recruitment of technical
personnel. Indian Army is one of the branches of the
Indian Armed Forces. It is responsible for conducting land based
military operations in India. Indian Army Soldiers Technical Examination
2011 is generally held four times in a year.
Hindi and English. Students who are found fit according to the medical standard and physical test will be allowed to appear for written test and then for an Interview. Final selection will be based on merit. Students will have to pass the certain set standards mentioned below:
Physical Fitness Test
Physical Fitness Test of Indian Army Soldier General Duty Examination 2011 carries 100 marks and the test consists of the following:
Ø 5.51 Mins to 6 .05 - 36 marks
Ø 5.41 Mins to 5.5 - 48 marks
Ø 5.40 Mins and below - 60 marks
Ø 7 pull ups - 21 marks
Ø 8 pull ups - 27 marks
Ø 9 pull ups - 33 marks
Ø 10 & above pull ups - 40 marks
Written Test: Written test of Indian Army Soldiers Technical (MER) Examination 2011 consists of following papers:
Paper I: General Intelligence, Mathematical Aptitude and General Knowledge.
Paper II: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics
Both the papers contain Multiple Choice Questions. Each paper is of 100 marks and time duration of 45 minutes. There will be questions of about 30 marks in Physics, 20 marks in Chemistry and 50 marks of Mensuration (Areas and Volumes), Algebra, Trigonometry and Arithmetic, etc. Students can prepare for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics section from any of the CBSE books for 12th standard.
Students can practice from previous year papers to become familiar with the exam pattern. The students should provide time for every section and study these subjects thoroughly. Time management is very important for preparing as well for writing the Indian Army Soldiers Technical (MER) Examination 2011. Students should practice some mock tests to know the level of their preparation and can improve accordingly. Keep rectifying your mistakes with each mock test.
