Procedure for recruitment of RPF Constable

• Written Examination -  Candidates called for written exam to be conducted at the nominated venue in each railway. Written test will consist of objective type questions of 1.5 hours’ duration. Question paper will be set by  the Central Recruitment Committee. The examination will be conducted. by the Zonal Recruitment Committee on a single date to be fixed by the Chairman, Central Recruitment Committee. CSC’s will render all assistance in the conduct of the test. 

• Physical Efficiency Test (PET) - Only those candidates who qualify in the Phase~I shall be called for Physical Measurement and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) - The measurement and PET shall be held at the venue of recruitment fixed by the Central Recruitment Committee. Phase-l will be conducted by Zonal Recruitment Committee preferably on the same dates/block of dates by all Railways. Chairman, Central Recruitment Committee may fix such a date in consultation with the CSC’s.

•  Viva-Voice: At least thrice the number of vacancies advertised shall be interviewed in each category.
